Our complex dementia care hubs provide a unique, specialist environment for people living with a more complex form of dementia, where symptoms, behaviours and needs have become too challenging to manage in a residential or dementia care setting.
Each home is staffed to support residents who may experience significant behavioural changes, high levels of anxiety, or complex physical and emotional needs linked to dementia progression. You can discover complex dementia care support across Osbourne Court, The Radley and Dalton Lodge. We also provide tailored support for enhanced dementia and early onset dementia for those aged under 65 years.

As dementia progresses, some individuals experience changes in behaviour that can be challenging for traditional care settings to safely manage alongside other residents. Ready for hospital discharge but require continued specialist dementia support

We work closely with hospital discharge teams, mental health professionals, local authorities, and family members to ensure every transition is handled with care, dignity, and compassion.

We understand that when a loved one begins to experience more advanced or complex dementia behaviours, it can raise many questions and uncertainties, especially when considering a move to a specialist care home. We regularly observe mood, engagement, and triggers for distress using Dementia Care Mapping™. Findings from the Wellbeing (WIB) assessments are applied to make measurable practice changes that enhance residents’ daily experiences.
The Rose Model of Dementia Care is a studies-based programme developed by B&M’s Director of Care and Head of Training. Devised in 2019 to enhance and standardise dementia care practice within our care homes, it is a person-centred model that prioritises individuality and enablement through personalised relationships.
