B&M Care Homes for Couples

We understand the deep bond that couples share, and we believe that as you age, the support and comfort of being together is more important than ever. That’s why we offer dedicated care options for couples who wish to move into a care home together and spend their golden years in comfort.

Personalised Care Plans for Couples

We recognise that every relationship is unique, which is why we create personalised care plans for each individual in a couple, ensuring they can continue living together, even if one partner has more complex needs. Our dedicated care team supports everything from mobility assistance to medication management, allowing couples to focus on what matters most: sharing more quality time and creating more memories together.

The personalised care plan will be completed for both members of a couple so we can understand their unique needs and goals, helping both to thrive and helping to make the time spent together as happy and enjoyable as possible.

Care Homes for Couples FAQs

We understand that for a couple to transition from their life at home to living in a care home can be challenging, but we are here to support you and answer any questions you may have.

chevron_right

Absolutely. We understand that the prospect of being separate from a partner when going into care can be worrying. At B&M Care, your happiness and wellbeing is our priority, so we will be more than happy to accommodate you both in the same care home to give you peace of mind.

travel_explore Can couples share one room?
chevron_right

Yes, we have couples rooms at most of our homes, so if you prefer to live together in the same room this is an option that is available to you. However, this may be subject to the unique care needs of one or both individuals in a couple. If there is specialist equipment that is required, for example, sleeping in separate rooms may be required in order for us to provide the best possible standard of care. This will be made clear to you during the care needs assessment.

Yes. You may wish to live in separate rooms to give yourself and your partner more comfort or space, particularly if one or both of you require assistance with personal or other types of day-to-day care. Our pricing information page can tell you about funding, or you can contact us directly to enquire.
