Your journey begins with a care assessment carried out at home. Each person’s assessment aims to find out more about them as an individual, to ensure that we can deliver the care and uniqueness that we pride ourselves on. We’ll create a personalised care plan to help us deliver the very best tailored care.
Family and loved ones are welcomed into the home when a resident moves in, and can help to personalise the room.
From furnishings and keepsakes, to photographs, decorations and sentimental items, we will provide support through every step of the transition into residential care. Once your loved one is settled, we will continue to communicate with you and let you know about ongoing reviews and evaluations.
Types of Residential Care

At B&M Care we offer a seven-day-a-week schedule in all our residential care homes. We ensure that all activities are meaningful and creative; they are often educational, too.
Delivered in both a one-to-one and larger group setting, the way we engage with our residents is unique to them – it’s reflective of their likes and dislikes, as well as their social and cultural interests.

Yes – we encourage all residents moving into our care homes to bring personal belongings to help make their room uniquely theirs. Having the comforts of home not only helps people to settle in, but the familiarity can make it easier for individuals with dementia to orient themselves as they get used to their new home.
You can also bring your own furniture, as long as it meets our fire safety requirements. No need to worry if you aren’t planning to bring your own furniture, because all of our rooms can come fully furnished with:
- Divan style bed
- A bedside table
- A wardrobe
- A chest of drawers
- Desk and chair
- An armchair
- An over bed table
