Meet the Manager
“My journey at B&M Care started in 2005 when I accepted the position of Home Manager at St Matthews. Following a storied success, I transferred to St Josephs Care Home in Tring in 2015 to further develop my skillset as a manager of a home that offers both residential and dementia care. Throughout my career, I have acquired a number of qualifications, including the Registered Managers Award (RMA), as well as completing the ‘Leadership Matters in Person-Centred Dementia Care’ programme delivered in conjunction with Dementia Care Matters and Alzheimer’s Society.
We are a warm and friendly home from home, with a long serving and loyal staff team who go out of their way to make every day beautiful for the people in our care.”

I (her daughter) have found the staff to be most pleasant and cheerful, from your entry into the home and to those serving my mother her refreshments. The home is clean and well-organised. Our dedicated Engagement Leads organise varied social calendars for events and entertainment, in groups and individually. Every resident experiences meaningful occupation, designed around their personal wishes and preferences.
Afternoons spent baking, creating art, or strolling around the nearby nature reserve bring fun and laughter to the residents at St Josephs. If a resident has a special interest or hobby, the Engagement Team strives to cater for it.
