Meet the Manager
“My journey at B&M Care started in 2005 when I accepted the position of Home Manager at St Matthews. Following a storied success, I transferred to St Josephs Care Home in Tring in 2015 to further develop my skillset as a manager of a home that offers both residential and dementia care. Throughout my career, I have acquired a number of qualifications, including the Registered Managers Award (RMA), as well as completing the ‘Leadership Matters in Person-Centred Dementia Care’ programme delivered in conjunction with Dementia Care Matters and Alzheimer’s Society.
We are a warm and friendly home from home, with a long serving and loyal staff team who go out of their way to make every day beautiful for the people in our care.”
Emma Pead – Home Manager
“My mother is a recent resident of St. Josephs and she is very happy with the service the home is providing.
I (her daughter) have found the staff to be most pleasant and cheerful, from your entry into the home and to those serving my mother her refreshments. The home is clean and well-organised. It is also a bonus that they provide hairdressing, chiropody and hygienist services to their residents. All in all, we are very happy all around.”
Daughter of Resident at St Josephs
“My brother was a resident for four years and I had no hesitation in recommending St Josephs for a friend for some respite care. Within four days, she decided she wanted to stay permanently. She receives the same great care as did my brother. St Josephs has been a lifesaver for me in taking over the care for both, and the staff are second to none.”
Friend of Resident at St Josephs
“My husband has been in St Josephs for more than a year now and I have been quite happy with his care. He has Alzheimers and can be a bit challenging at times but he has been treated with the utmost care and respect. I am most appreciative of the care and attention he is given. He and all the residents always look very clean and well cared for.”
