“Having previously worked at Bury Lodge and Ryeview Manor, my most recent appointment was in 2019 as Home Manager of St Leonards Care Home in Aylesbury. My experience and education has very much focused on dementia care practice; a philosophy that falls in line with B&M Care’s overarching person-centred ethos. Our Response
The recent CQC inspection at St Leonards recognised the kind, attentive staff team, strong leadership, meaningful activities, and positive relationships within the home. Residents and families expressed confidence in the care provided.
Areas for improvement were identified in recruitment, training, record-keeping, audits, and Mental Capacity Assessments. These were acted on immediately, with strengthened processes and independently reviewed MCAs rated ‘very good’.
