  • "I would like to thank all the staff at Willowthorpe for looking after my Dad so well for the last two and a half years. I was very upset and saddened when we had to place him in a care home in 2018, but I am now glad that he was so happy and comfortable with you and ended his life in such peaceful and familiar surroundings."

    Relatives of Resident

  • "We wanted to say thank you to all staff for their excellent care of our mothers. The home is a safe environment with forward-thinking and planning at every stage - and usually in advance of government guidelines. Entertainment and needs are met by caring and loving staff, and we feel very lucky to be part of the 'Willowthorpe family'. The home and grounds are beautifully maintained making it a home-from-home for everyone. Communication is top-notch, nothing is too much trouble and even the B&M Care Head Office updates are gratefully received in these difficult times. So thank you all, we appreciate you all."

    Family of Two Residents

  • "Words cannot express our thanks for everything you have done this year in keeping my beloved Mum safe and well. I know it has been extremely stressful for you all, as it has for us on the outside. Mum is the backbone of our family and I know she would like to thank you for everything [the home] has done."

    Family of Resident

  • "I wanted to thank you for the arrangements you have made for relatives to visit their family member. I was very impressed by the summer house which Mum and I used. I thought it was a very attractive and welcoming venue for both residents and their visitor. Thank you from me to you all for the continuing thoughtful care you provide for Mum and all the residents."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "We owe everyone at Willowthorpe an enormous debt of gratitude for the loving care that you have shown to our Father over the last seven years. We could not have chosen a better place for him to live out his remaining years."

    Family of Resident

  • "I have just received the latest update from B&M Care and am impressed by the high standard of care being delivered by Willowthorpe and the rest of your group. Well done, it is much appreciated."

    Relative of Resident

  • "All of you at Willowthorpe have been amazing; I'm so glad we found you. You read in the press all the horror stories, but Willowthorpe is far better - well run and caring. I know my Dad gave everyone a hard time - this never changed how you at the home treated him. Saying that, he was a terrible flirt and the staff gave him as good as they got - and he loved it."

    Son of Resident

  • "We would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff who looked after Mum with such love & affection. She was very happy during her time living at Willowthorpe."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "As a team of caregivers, I cannot fault the care you showered my Dad with. He may not have always shown his gratitude, but he appreciated your time & interaction. He grew to love so many of you."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "What an absolute joy to be invited to Willowthorpe. Thank you all so very much for a truly wonderful morning. So many questions & interesting opinions on all aspects of writing. I look forward to coming again soon. "

    Brenda Burling (Author)

  • "At Willowthorpe Mum was always enabled to live her life as she wanted. The care given by all the staff who knew her was exceptional. It is a skilled job and we will remember that your staff cared for Mum with skill, compassion and humour."
