Virtual Tour

  • "I wanted to thank you for the arrangements you have made for relatives to visit their family member. I was very impressed by the summer house which Mum and I used. I thought it was a very attractive and welcoming venue for both residents and their visitor. Thank you from me to you all for the continuing thoughtful care you provide for Mum and all the residents."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "We owe everyone at Willowthorpe an enormous debt of gratitude for the loving care that you have shown to our Father over the last seven years. We could not have chosen a better place for him to live out his remaining years."

    Family of Resident

  • "I have just received the latest update from B&M Care and am impressed by the high standard of care being delivered by Willowthorpe and the rest of your group. Well done, it is much appreciated."

    Relative of Resident

  • "All of you at Willowthorpe have been amazing; I'm so glad we found you. You read in the press all the horror stories, but Willowthorpe is far better - well run and caring. I know my Dad gave everyone a hard time - this never changed how you at the home treated him. Saying that, he was a terrible flirt and the staff gave him as good as they got - and he loved it."

    Son of Resident

  • "We would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff who looked after Mum with such love & affection. She was very happy during her time living at Willowthorpe."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "As a team of caregivers, I cannot fault the care you showered my Dad with. He may not have always shown his gratitude, but he appreciated your time & interaction. He grew to love so many of you."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "What an absolute joy to be invited to Willowthorpe. Thank you all so very much for a truly wonderful morning. So many questions & interesting opinions on all aspects of writing. I look forward to coming again soon. "

    Brenda Burling (Author)

  • "At Willowthorpe Mum was always enabled to live her life as she wanted. The care given by all the staff who knew her was exceptional. It is a skilled job and we will remember that your staff cared for Mum with skill, compassion and humour."

“I was appointed Home Manager at Willowthorpe in 2014 following many years’ experience working within the sector. It’s a rewarding role, and I’m proud of the team that I have developed – and the high standard of care that we consistently strive to deliver. In addition to my experience, I have a portfolio of qualifications, including ‘End of Life: Train the Trainer’, a PTLLS Award, and a LMC Level 4 in Health & Social Care.”
Nicola Mead - Home Manager
“I started my B&M Care journey at St Catharines before transferring to Willowthorpe as a Care Assistant in 2008 - and ‘moving through the ranks’ to my most recent appointment as Deputy Manager in 2019. My experience has been complimented by a number of qualifications, including an NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care, as well as completing B&M Care’s in-house Management Development Pathway in 2016.”
Lisa Edwards - Deputy Manager
“I have worked for B&M Care since 2000; a career that has seen me progress from a Care Assistant through to my current role as Assistant Manager. My time at Willowthorpe has seen me develop my skillset both in a practical and academic capacity – which in-turn, has allowed me to flourish within a setting that I strive to the best in.”
