Our home features a traditional cottage, hand-built by Chairman Bill Hughes, which provides a private space for visitors in a nostalgic setting. The Engagement Team utilises both the outdoor and indoor space well, organising fetes for the local community, often inviting live performers for sing-along events, and creating personalised fine dining nights for couples.
Every resident, in each B&M home, also has access to The Hideaway – a cosy countryside retreat with extensive grounds, and on-site Reminiscence Museum.

A cancelled plan led Betty to try gliding at London Gliding Club on Dunstable Downs. One flight was all it took. It was there she met her husband, beginning a lifetime of shared adventures.
Now 94, Betty, who lives at St Andrews Care Home, never imagined she would return. But a surprise visit brought her back among her beloved gliders, where familiar faces instantly recognised her and shared fond memories of her husband.
Even a plate still displayed in a frame Betty had made was waiting to be rediscovered. A little piece of her, still part of a place that means so much.

The garden at St Andrews came alive for our wonderful Summer Fete! 🎪
Residents, families and friends enjoyed live singers, a fantastic performance from our in-house choir, delicious food, traditional games, a tombola, raffle, jewellery sale and face painting.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who organised, performed, volunteered, donated and joined us. Most importantly, thank you to our residents and families for making the afternoon so memorable.
