  • "My sisters and I can only praise the care and genuine kindness displayed by staff at St Lukes throughout our mother's two years as a resident. We can't thank the home enough for looking after our Mum and providing a place where she felt safe and free of worry. She loved looking at the trees and the garden out of her window, and we had many a telephone conversation about the flowers and leaves. This comes with a big 'thank you' to everyone."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "Although my sister was able to see Mum soon after her passing, neither of us were able to hold her hand during her last moments, but we are both comforted knowing that you and your team cared diligently and kindly throughout her time at St Lukes. I deeply admire, and am thankful to, all of you who have put yourself at risk in order to look after our loved ones. You should all be very proud of what you are doing. I greatly appreciate your hard work and dedication."

    Family of Resident

  • "A big thank you to St Lukes for your love and care to Mum and all the residents during this frustrating time. We are thinking of you all. Keep up the good work."

    Family of Resident

  • "We just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of the staff for their dedication and commitment during these unprecedented times. It is a great comfort knowing that our Mother is being so well looked after. You are doing a fantastic job - and not a forgotten key workforce as far as we are concerned. We are so very grateful."

    Family of Resident

  • "Stay safe everyone and thank you for being such angels in this awful situation."

    Relative of Resident

  • "Thank you so very much for a wonderful day out last week at Beale Park. I know that Mum and the other ladies had a wonderful time - especially the train ride! Thank you for all your hard work and for giving me an opportunity to spend some quality time with Mum."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "Please accept our sincerest thanks and gratitude for all the help and practical guidance you have offered our learners. We appreciate the opportunity you have given to them to experience the world of work. Your contribution to our learners' personal development is apparent in the way they have developed their professional behaviour and confidence."

    Reading College

  • "I am very pleased to have the opportunity to feedback how grateful I am to St Lukes for finding a place for my Mother. And what is more - your flexibility is astonishing, and I was doubly grateful when you decided that the Lilac Unit was not for her, and were able to move her to a lovely, freshly decorated room. The whole process of arriving and getting things sorted, including the paperwork and financial arrangements, could not have been made easier."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "We have been so grateful for the gentle care and compassion you showed to Dad for the 6 months he was at St Lukes. So many times we have blessed the day a bed became available for him, and it was an immeasurable relief to know that he was safe, comfortable and content."

    Son of Resident

  • "Thank you all so much for everything you did for our dear Dad to make his last months so comfortable, cosy and stress-free. He obviously felt very safe and peaceful, and very content with you. We were so glad to find St Lukes."
