  • "Everyone at St Lauras has been nothing but amazing - we could not have asked for anything more in the amazing care and attention you provided throughout my Grandmother's stay with you. Our appreciation heightened considering the unbelievably challenging past year. What the home has had to deal with leaves no words in a positive way. Everyone's resilience, hard work and efforts cannot be commended enough - and in a way, the team at St Lauras became an indirect extension of our family and a big part of our lives."

  • "Having just walked along Kings Langley High Street today, [I] saw the huge effort you have made to commemorate Remembrance Sunday.  A big thank you. Since opening, you’ve made a real effort to make St Lauras a part of the village community."

    Local Resident

  • "The hardest thing in my life was sharing my Mum with a care home, and then we visited St Lauras. I can’t put into words how loving and genuine the staff are, how beautiful the home and grounds are and how at home my family feel when we visit. I visited at least 12 care homes in and around the area, and there is no doubt in my mind, St Lauras is a league of its own."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "I would like to say a big thank you to everyone at St Lauras for making my 70th birthday so very special. You managed for me to see my beloved husband and I am so very grateful. You do amazing work!"

    Wife of Resident

  • "We watched the home being built – and it looks fantastic. And having spoken with a number of the builders on-site, I can’t believe the facilities that will be on offer. Really looking forward to having a look inside."

Our Staff

St Lauras Care Home has a select team of experienced care staff who have each undertaken bespoke training to meet the individual needs of the home's residents. The home provides appropriate ratios of staff both day and night, alongside a day-to-day care ethos that delivers highly-personalised care where dignity, freedom and privacy are consistently upheld. With an industry-envied training programme and ongoing support & development, B&M Care's guiding principles are what define our staff within the dementia care sector.
I started my career within the care sector at the age of just 19. I have undertaken almost every role within a home - from Domestic and Kitchen Assistant, to Care Assistant, Senior Care Assistant and Engagement Lead. Through doing so, this has cultivated my storied success, as well as my most recent appointment to Home Manager at St Lauras. From this, and as I tell all of my staff, there are no limits to progression: from responsibility and personal development, to training and further education - I empower the people around me to be the very best that they can be, regardless of their age, health or confidence. And by doing so, they in-turn deliver the exceptional care that the home continues to pride itself on.
