    Son of Resident

  • "Thank you very much for arranging for me to sit out on the patio with Mum today. She looked very well and it was great for me to be able to see her. I am not sure quite what she thought of me in a mask, but I did get a smile, so hopefully she knew who I was."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "Our family really appreciate the constant care and attention you are giving to all residents during this awful crisis. Thank you for your hard work; we know the restrictions are making a bad situation worse, but hope you're able to keep spirits up for both residents and staff. "

Our Staff

St Brendans has a select team of experienced care staff who have each undertaken bespoke training to meet the individual needs of the home's residents. The home provides appropriate ratios of staff both day and night, alongside a day-to-day care ethos that delivers highly-personalised care where dignity, freedom and privacy are consistently upheld. With an industry-envied training programme and ongoing support & development, B&M Care's guiding principles are what define our staff within the dementia care sector.
Debbie Rapson - Home Manager
“I started my career within care in 2002 working in an environment that delivered highly-personalised care for older people on a residential basis. A number of years later, I transferred to the home’s dementia suite to better support my interest in dementia care. With this knowledge and specialism, I felt confident enough to apply for a Team Leader opportunity at St Brendans in 2017: a pathway that saw me progress into my current role as Deputy Manager. In respect to my qualifications, I have achieved an NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care, and act as a Dementia Facilitator for the University of Scotland.”
Lynne Storror - Deputy Manager
