  • "I thought I knew my Mum really well, but she has truly surprised me of late. It has been just over a year since she moved into Bury Lodge [and] suddenly, at the age of 92, she has found a new confidence. I think she is quite proud of what she is able to do and say now. She loves all the staff and is so appreciative of what you all do for her - and really enjoys the companionship of the other residents. I always get a sense of calm, happiness and unity when I visit Bury Lodge. You are all truly exceptional!"

  • "Thank you for all the kindness and respect you have given to Mum over the past three-and-a-half years. She loved living at Bury Lodge - thank you for making her life happy and fulfilling. She always enjoyed chatting to members of staff - you all brightened up her day. Bury Lodge is a fantastic home - we wouldn't have wanted her anywhere else."

    Family of Resident

  • "I can't tell you how lovely it was to see all the familiar faces on your newsletter. You guys do an amazing job keeping our lovely relatives busy in these very challenging times. I know Mum doesn't always join in a lot, but she has always taken joy in watching from the side lines. Amazing work ladies!"

    Daughter of Resident

  • "I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the fantastic work you are doing during these difficult, stressful and dangerous times [COVID-19 Pandemic]. I am sure that, as always, you are giving the residents as much care and attention as you can. I know that you must be doing something right, because every time I speak to my Mum, she is very upbeat and cheerful - this is a great comfort to me. Also, throughout the crisis, I have been very impressed with all of the correspondence, not only from you [Bury Lodge], but from B&M Care itself. I thank you for your consideration and professionalism."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "Thank you for your kindness and care of our Mum and Dad, as well as your help at Mum's funeral - it really means so much!"

    Family of Resident

  • "Dad's 90th get-together was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by everybody. Thank you for letting us hold it at Bury Lodge - it was very much appreciated. A very special thank you to [Chef] Noel and his team for the delicious eats and mouth-watering birthday cake!"

Our Staff

Bury Lodge Care Home has a select team of experienced care staff who have each undertaken bespoke training to meet the individual needs of the home's residents. The home provides appropriate ratios of staff both day and night, alongside a day-to-day care ethos that delivers highly-personalised care where dignity, freedom and privacy are consistently upheld. With an industry-envied training programme and ongoing support & development, B&M Care's guiding principles are what define our staff within the dementia care sector.

Having started her B&M Care career at White Plains in Denham, Lisa transferred to Bury Lodge when the home opened in 2016, taking on the position of Deputy Manager. Later that year, Lisa was appointed as Home Manager to lead a team in line with B&M Care’s overarching person-centred philosophy. Lisa also participated in B&M Care’s first Management Development Pathway in 2015; an opportunity that developed her skillset and shaped her distinct approach to care. In addition to this, she has completed an NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care, and the ‘Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow’ programme in partnership with Alzheimer’s Society.
