  • "Osborne Court were absolutely fantastic with my nan. Her care was fantastic, I felt so at ease leaving her in their care, communication was always excellent, staff always friendly and supportive with Nan and us as a family. I honestly can’t praise them highly enough. They have plenty of different  activities and the staff are so encouraging and inclusive of all residents. In Nan's final days we were given privacy, dignity, and were looked after with anything we needed. I would trust them and use them for other family if I need to."

  • "The staff are always helpful, cheerful, approachable and understanding. I have noticed a large turnover of staff over the last five years that my mother has been a resident; however, over the last year under the new management, this has drastically improved. The continuity of staff is paramount for residents that have Dementia. The entertainment staff are brilliant and provide varied activities/stimulants during the day, which is paramount to improving the mental health of the residents, in my opinion. I am kept constantly up-to-date with everything involved with my mother, from her health and welfare, as well as funny antidotes that she has been up to in between my regular visits, and I'm happy that she is well looked after and loved by the staff there."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "Absolutely brilliant, I had just traveled 6 hours from Cumbria to visit my father. I was welcomed by the receptionist with big smiles who explained everything really well as I was unsure of Covid rules, when I was in the room visiting my dad he was been fed by a lovely nurse called Happiness. Who was so understanding, I was speaking to one of the nurses who was caring for my dad she explained his health condition to me very clearly, all in all my dad couldn't be in a better place right now given his condition."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "My mother lived at Osbourne Court for the last year, sadly passing recently. She had dementia and a number of physical health problems especially towards the end of her life. I can only speak highly of the kindness and respect with which she was treated and the professionalism of the staff, which made life easier for both her and the rest of the family. I have no previous experience of dealing with care homes but I was very encouraged by my dealings with this one."

    Son of Resident

  • "I like this home because everyone is warm and welcoming. Staff have been bending over backwards for my relative as we went on a downward trend. Pick up again these last few days, I will be forever grateful. The management are good, they also make sure they keep up to speed with residents and relatives. All in all, the home is clean, pleasant, homely and welcoming including maintenance staff, cleaners, carers and activity staff, as well as, excellent nursing staff."
