Our Staff

Hillview Care Home has a select team of experienced care staff who have each undertaken bespoke training to meet the individual needs of the home's residents. The home provides appropriate ratios of staff both day and night, alongside a day-to-day care ethos that delivers highly-personalised care where dignity, freedom and privacy are consistently upheld. With an industry-envied training programme and ongoing support & development, B&M Care's guiding principles are what define our staff within the dementia care sector.
“My career at B&M Care started in 2012 at St Catharines as a Care Assistant. Following two promotions, I transferred to Milford Lodge in 2017 as an Assistant Manager to continue developing my skillset within a home’s management team. Beyond my extensive knowledge of day-to-day care practice, I have a roster of qualifications, including an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management, in addition to being the home’s Safeguarding Champion.”
Tracy Schrock - Home Manager
  • "We bless the day that Mum arrived on your doorstep - it was a giant leap of faith. Your reputation preceded you, but nevertheless, entrusting the care of a most precious loved one to others is no easy feat. Our faith was rewarded, and then some. The love, compassion and care given to Mum, both in her living and in her final days, has been simply exemplary. You were her day-to-day family, thus making you ours too. You were her friends, thus making you our friends too. We will never forget and can never repay you for what you have done for our Mum."

  • "I just wanted to say how greatly I appreciate just how difficult this pandemic has been for you all. Sure, it is tough on the residents, and heartbreaking for families, but I know just how much you passionately care for your residents and that you have done everything in your power to keep them safe and happy. Their safety will always be paramount, and because I love my mum more than anyone else, I cannot thank you enough for your endeavours. You are a simply amazing team."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "I was looking for respite care for my father-in-law, and although the home at the time was full, they understood my sense of urgency and did everything possible to help, including providing the names of other homes that might be suitable. True to their word, the home came back to me with the offer of another home, however, by that time, my father-in-law had already been placed elsewhere. What impressed me was that both the Administrator and the Home Manager contacted me later to enquire after my father-in-law, which made me feel they had gone well beyond the call of duty."

    Enquirer

  • "I want to thank you and your wonderful team for all the hard work, dedication and professionalism you have demonstrated throughout these difficult times. Absolutely marvellous."

    Daughter of Resident

  • "Just wanted to say how lovely it was seeing my husband yesterday. He looks so well! Thank you so much for enabling the visit, and as I have said before, I have nothing but praise for all your fantastic team who have kept going (so positively!) throughout this difficult time."

    Wife of Resident

  • "Firstly, can I say a huge thank you to all your staff for everything you're doing for Mum and the other residents during this very difficult time. Mum continues to sound very happy and contented when we speak to her which is a huge relief."
