Do you know someone living with a dementia?

Join B&M Care on Tuesday 29th March (10am) at St Lauras Care Home in Kings Langley for the group's CPD-accredited Living Well With Dementia Seminar.

Primarily aimed at carers and members of the community caring for an individual living with a dementia, this two-hour session will be hosted by B&M Care’s Dementia Lead Caroline Inch (BSc (Hons) Dementia Studies) who will speak more in-depth about dementia, and offer valuable insight into how you can support a person to live well with a dementia. The end of seminar will welcome an opportunity for visitors to discuss their own experiences.

B&M Care’s Living Well With Dementia Seminar is a free-of-charge event.

Bookings will start in March 2022.

On The Day

In-line with Government regulations, B&M Care can only accept bookings for the Living Well with Dementia Seminar from individuals who have been fully vaccinated, i.e. have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccination (Pfizer-BioNTech, Oxford/AstraZeneca or Moderna).

Individuals that have been vaccinated by the NHS in England will be required to demonstrate their vaccination status using one of the following three methods:

  • the NHS App
  • the NHS website -
  • the NHS COVID Pass letter

Upon arrival, each individual is required to take a Lateral Flow Device (LFD) Test – commonly known as a rapid test kit – and to wear a face covering throughout the duration of the tour. Tests can be taken prior to arrival, but must be taken on the day of the seminar. Individuals would then need to bring evidence of the result with them. If you don’t have access to a test kit, the home will provide this on the day, including face coverings.
