Viewing A Home

Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, B&M Care has been met with unprecedented challenges, but difficult circumstances have led to pockets of excellence across all areas of the business.

Here at B&M Care, we recognise that choosing a care home for a loved one is not only a significant decision, but one that can often be difficult to navigate. From prioritising demands to evaluating the affordability of care, nothing is more affirming than seeing the product or service that you are investing in.

With this, B&M Care continues to offer in-person viewings to prospective clients. A show-round can be booked in any one of our homes for a maximum of one-to-two people (e.g. the person making the enquiry, as well as their loved one).

All visitors are required to be fully vaccinated, i.e. they have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccination. Individuals that have been vaccinated by the NHS in England can demonstrate their vaccination status using the following three methods:

  • the NHS App
  • the NHS website -
  • the NHS COVID Pass letter

Upon arrival, each individual is required to take a Lateral Flow Device (LFD) test – commonly known as a rapid test kit – and to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the duration of the show round. Both the test and PPE will be provided by the home.

The show-round will be conducted by a member of the home’s management team where social distancing will be adhered to at all times. The viewing will be limited to areas of the home where the prospective resident will be living, e.g. their bedroom. Communal lounge and dining areas should not be entered, but can be viewed through a window.

Should there be a Covid-19 outbreak, the show-round will again be limited to areas of the home where there are no active cases.

Virtual Tours

During the pandemic, many of our homes produced a walk-through virtual tour. These can be viewed on each of our homes’ respective pages.
