Infection Control Assurance

Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, B&M Care has been met with unprecedented challenges, but difficult circumstances have led to pockets of excellence across all areas of the business.

As B&M Care continues to navigate through the complexities laid out by the Covid-19 pandemic, the group would like to reassure you that the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and residents remains paramount.

Our Infection Control Assurance is a commitment to minimising the risk of Covid-19 to our existing residents and staff, whilst safely welcoming new admissions into our homes. From PPE and regular testing, to enhanced cleaning and dedicated visiting areas, these standards reflect our Covid-19 Response and guidelines set out by the Government. These procedures are in place to meet and exceed the requirements of those considering a B&M Care Home for a loved one.

Vaccinations

Part of our Infection Control Assurance is B&M Care’s Covid-19 vaccination rollout. B&M Care has now successfully completed the second phase of the programme, with all 26 care homes having been offered both doses of the vaccine.

In addition to vaccinations being administered, each B&M Care Home will continue to test residents on a monthly basis using PCR testing. Staff will continue to be tested weekly using PCR testing, as well as twice a week using Lateral Flow Device (LFD) test kits.

Should a resident or member of staff test positive using either test kit, additional testing is undertaken.
