'Golden Rose Awards': The Winners

Saturday 11th January saw B&M Care announce the winners of the Group’s debut ‘Golden Rose Awards’ at Ashridge House in Hertfordshire.

Attended by over 200 B&M Care Head Office and care home staff, the evening was officiated with a drinks reception and a black tie dinner ahead of the main awards ceremony where the following winners were announced: 

Colleague of the Year

Winner: Marlyn Scott – Greenhill
Finalists: Kylie Talbot – The Lodge; Stuart Bowie – Tremona

Outstanding Contribution

Winner: Matt Ross – Ryeview Manor
Finalists: Debbie Quinn – The Radley; Kelly Huxtable – Ashlyns

Person-Centred Moment

Winner: Kristine Bean – Willowthorpe
Finalists: Kathleen Gilroy – St Leonards; William MacDonald – Clare Lodge

“I would like to congratulate all the winners and highly commended finalists,” said Caroline Inch, Director of Care and Dementia Services.

She continued: “On behalf of B&M Care, I am so proud to pay tribute to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their role. We look forward to celebrating the dedication of more ‘unsung heroes’ next year.”

The ‘Golden Rose Awards’ were launched in line with B&M Care’s staff recognition blueprint: an ongoing initiative that continues to encourage constructive employee engagement through a number of in-home and company-wide recognition schemes.
