B&M Care has supported sister brand Fledglings Nursery in adding another layer of protection to the pre-school by temporarily extending the nursery into a neighbouring building.

Residing adjacent to Ashlyns Care Home on Berkhamsted’s Ashlyns Hall Estate, The Pavilion is an outbuilding that has been adapted in-line with the group’s infection control protocols to offer the nursery’s ‘Cygnet’ pre-school group a new and extensive play-space.

With an open plan decor and integrated facilities, such as a kitchen, B&M Care has successfully provisioned smaller play-pods that adhere to additional social distancing measures to offer both parents and their children the reassurance of safe and meaningful engagement.

“On behalf of Fledglings Nursery, I would like to thank B&M Care for provisioning this new space for us to temporarily occupy,” said Katie Ayres, Fledglings Nursery Assistant Manager.

She continued: “This further allows us [staff and children] to enjoy our time together in a safe and coordinated environment.”

In addition to the temporary extension, all children continue to have full access to the nursery’s ‘Rainbow Stations’: dedicated areas where busy hands can be washed and sanitised throughout the day.
