B&M Care Successfully Completes First Phase Of Vaccination Rollout
Published date: 28/01/2021 09:37

Since the end of December, B&M Care has worked in partnership with local healthcare professionals to administer both residents and staff with one of the two approved vaccinations – Pfizer-BioNTech and Oxford-AstraZeneca.
Re-visits will be coordinated to vaccinate individuals who were unable to receive the first dose of the vaccine when the initial rollout within a home took place.
At present, B&M Care has not documented any significant adverse side effects.
Phase 2 of B&M Care’s vaccination rollout will commence in-line with local authority guidelines.
In addition to the Covid-19 vaccinations, B&M Care is now using LFD (Lateral Flow Device) test kits to add yet another layer of protection to each of our homes. Used in conjunction with the gold standard in testing – the PCR swab test – staff are now being tested twice weekly using rapid testing. Residents will continue to be tested using PCR testing.
