B&M Care is delighted to announce that for the sixth consecutive year the Group will sponsor the 'Carer of the Year' category at the forthcoming Hertfordshire Community Awards 2020.

Taking place at Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre, the event is indisputably one of the largest initiatives in Hertfordshire that celebrates the ‘unsung hero’ and their invaluable contribution to improving local communities. 

The ‘Carer of the Year’ award recognises an individual for giving up their time to look after and improve a person’s quality of life.

Other awards include: Good Neighbour Award; Parent in a Million; School of the Year; Teacher of the Year; and Valiant Volunteer.

After years of successfully running the Community Awards in The Comet, Welwyn Hatfield Times and Herts Advertiser publications, this year saw the Archant Group – the media company that represents the above brands – change the ceremony’s name to Hertfordshire Community Awards to celebrate a wider audience.

Due to current circumstances, the Hertfordshire Community Awards will be held later this year (date to be confirmed).
