With the simple intention of celebrating ‘unity across distance’, Friday 17th April saw B&M Care host a group-wide initiative, titled ‘Rainbow Friday’.

Inspired by the nationwide ‘Chase the Rainbow’ window trend – a creative response to ‘curbed living’ that has since seen young and old brushstroke colourful displays to spread hope and solidarity within their local communities – each of our homes, including B&M Care Head Office, cascaded themselves in vibrant colour ways to offset the unprecedented climate with a collective sense of togetherness.

From arts and crafts, to baking, fancy dress and simple messages of thanks, every act – however big or small – looked to celebrating our care and those that deliver it, as well as the group’s response at the frontline of what has been coined a “testing time”.

“Rainbow Friday is an opportunity for B&M Care to come together across all our teams to focus on hope and positivity as we continue responding to current challenges,” said B&M Care’s Engagement & Wellbeing Promoter, Ruth Webster.

She continued: “What the group has done today is essentially thank and celebrate all of our amazing staff – in both our homes and at our Head Office – and reinforced our commitment to delivering quality care.”
