What is Radar?
Radar Software is a real-time digital dashboard that manages information to improve the overall effectiveness of day-to-day operations. Radar will integrate existing processes and connect all aspects of B&M Care’s operations to assist compliance management across the company.
Primarily designed for the health and social care sectors, Radar’s software is a state-of-the-art solution that facilitates positive culture change through intuitively managing workflows, day-to-day activities, risk, and safety.
Key features of Radar Software include:
- Audit Management
- Action and Improvement Plans
- Document Management
- Incident and Event Management
- Risk Management
- Workforce Compliance
- Data Analysis
Why Did B&M Care Choose Radar?
Simply put, Radar Software is a tool to capture all operational information in a central location to help ensure that as a provider, we are safe and compliant.
From care home operations, governance, and health & safety, to facilities management and staff training, Radar Software helps us to:
- Identify areas for improvement
- Assign and track actions
- Understand and mitigate risks
- Capture details of events and incidents
- Record lessons learnt
- Manage staff training
- Schedule keys tasks
Radar is a live software system that provides real-time visibility of the organisation as a whole. From Head Office through to each of our care homes, this transparency means that all regulatory and internal processes are tracked and monitored to drive accountability.
What Does Radar Look Like?
Radar’s digital dashboard is accessible and easy to use and allows users to move freely across all areas of its system to input data and carry out detailed data analysis both at a home level and remotely.
Who Will Be Using Radar?
Radar will be used by each of our care homes and our senior management team, including our operations management team (pictured below). The group has embarked on a six-month training programme of care home managers and selected members of the care home teams, who in-turn will train and support other staff using Radar within the homes.
How Will Radar Help My Loved One?
B&M Care chose to implement Radar as it will strengthen our service by ensuring our day-to-day practices remain safe and compliant, and to continue providing the highest standard of care that is responsive to those living in our homes.
Radar will also be used to support regulatory inspections by capturing key operational information, and to perform automated data analysis to demonstrate best practice.
