B&M Care is delighted to announce the launch of the ‘Golden Rose Awards’ to celebrate and reward staff and excellence across the Group.

Each of the initiative’s three award categories looks to recognising an ‘unsung hero’ and their outstanding contribution to B&M Care’s sector-leading standard of specialist residential and dementia care.

Categories include: ‘Colleague of the Year’, ‘Outstanding Contribution’ and ‘Person-Centred Moment’ – each of which will recognise an individual for how they have positively impacted and inspired a team, as well as for their ongoing commitment to a role and how they have created moments that celebrate an individual’s uniqueness within a B&M Care Home.

Nominations will be shortlisted by B&M Care’s Operations Team on 15th November, of which three finalists from each category will then attend a ceremony in January 2020 where the winners will be announced.

“We’re so proud of the great outcomes our staff help to achieve - and these awards are a fantastic way to celebrate their efforts,” commented Caroline Inch, Director of Care & Dementia Services.

She continued: “By entering awards – or creating our own – this enables us to benchmark ourselves against our competitors, and reassure prospective residents that we are a care provider of choice.”

The ‘Golden Rose Awards’ have been launched in line with B&M Care’s staff recognition blueprint: an ongoing initiative that continues to encourage constructive employee engagement through a number of in-home and company-wide recognition schemes.
