B&M Care is delighted to announce that the group’s Living Well with Dementia seminar has been accredited by The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Certification Service.

The decision for accreditation represents the content of the seminar demonstrating substantial conformance to The CPD’s benchmark standards and values around quality of learning.

“We are delighted to have achieved accreditation from The CPD. It is a demanding standard to achieve, and truly reflects our desire to offer a best-in-class service to the communities that we operate in,” said Caroline Inch, B&M Care’s Head of Innovation & Dementia Care.

She continued: “Sharing our expertise within dementia care is a cornerstone of our business; a model fronted by our informative Living Well with Dementia seminar. This mark of quality essentially celebrates our seminar as a roadmap to continuous advancement in sharing best practice beyond the immediacy of our homes to a wider community where, at times, there is a lack of information and signposting available.”

Primarily aimed at carers and members of the community caring for an individual living with a dementia, the Living Well with Dementia seminar is hosted by Caroline, as well as B&M Care’s Head of Business Development Angela Hunt, who offer visitors valuable insight into what dementia is, and how a caregiver can support a person to live well with a dementia.

Caroline concluded: “What visitors can expect is an informed experience that aims to develop understanding, raise awareness, and above all, improve confidence when caring for a loved one with a dementia. This is done through a commitment to quality, integrity, and content that draws upon not only our experience as a provider, but relevant information about what is happening now in relation to dementia. And as per previous editions of our seminar, there will still be the opportunity for attendees to share their own experiences with the group, and to seek one-to-one advice from either myself or Angela.”
