New Homes

Each B&M Care Home is built with a vision where people and innovation are at the heart of its blueprint: a strategy where design cultivates enabling environments and the highest quality of day-to-day care practice.

New Homes

Maynecol Services, the building division of B&M Care, continues its expansion drive with one opening and two future developments.

October 2018 saw B&M Care open The Chadwick on Ware Road, Hoddesdon. Developed across four floors, the purpose-built care home offers 24-hour residential and respite care, as well as B&M Care’s specialist dementia care within a dedicated dementia suite that opened in January 2019. In addition to the home’s 62 fully furnished bedrooms, facilities at The Chadwick include: a gym; a spa; a cinema; a bar lounge; two engagement suites; and an extensive outdoor living space.

The same month as the opening of The Chadwick saw B&M Care receive planning permission for a 23-bedroom extension at Tara’s Retreat in Sandridge, Hertfordshire. Complimenting the home’s current 46-bedroom, purpose-built design, the extension will be completed in early 2020.

The next home on B&M Care’s build schedule is St Lauras in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire. Opening late 2019, the home will reflect the design and specification of B&M Care’s most recent developments and will offer 24-hour residential, respite and dedicated dementia care. Highlights will include: a number of lounge, dining and outdoor living spaces; a dedicated dementia suite; and B&M Care’s first-ever in-house GP surgery – including three on-site parking areas.

St Lauras will extend B&M Care’s portfolio to 26 care homes across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Northamptonshire.
