heart-icon.png/ What People Say

"We would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks to you all for the loving and caring way which you looked after our dear neighbour during her sadly too short stay with you. It was reassuring to know that she was safe and well cared for." Neighbour of Resident

"I just wanted to thank you so much for all the fantastic care you are giving to my Father. From walks to lots & lots of food (he better not get too used to your cooked breakfasts), he has everything he could possibly need." Daughter of Resident

"We would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff who helped care for and look after our Dad. We know he took a little while to settle in (and was his usual stubborn self), but he soon got used to the idea of Tremona - and we were thankful for that." Family of Resident

"We are very pleased to have found such a fantastic, caring home for Mum. Thank you all for your compassion and care that you gave to her during her stay with you. We fully appreciate all the help shown to Mum in trying to get her to integrate and join in the activities. We could not have wished for a better environment." Daughter of Resident

"Just a note of thanks for everything that you have done in the last 2 years - for us as a family, but most importantly for our Nan. You gave her a home we could visit [where we] could share moments with her that we can remember and treasure. Her final days were full of love, memories & dignity - we can never thank you enough." Family of Resident

"Over the last couple of years, you have all become a large part of our lives and we will miss you now that Mum is no longer with us. We have some wonderful memories and photos of Mum enjoying her time with you at Tremona. We spent the last 3 days at Mum's bedside and we will never forget the love, care and dignity you gave to her." Family of Resident

"I would like to thank you and your staff for your care and love shown to my sister during the two years she spent with you. It was a source of comfort to me knowing that she was so well looked after - resulting in a smile whenever I visited." Sister of Resident

"I know I have said so before but thank you so much for the way that you and your wonderful staff looked after my Mum during the last few years of her long life. It is always a difficult decision to make to move a parent from their own home - you feel you might be taking away their independence. However, my Mum couldn't have been happier than she was with you at Tremona. I lost count of the number of times that Mum told me how nice everybody was at [the home]." Son of Resident

"Words appear to be so inadequate at this time to suitably describe how much we appreciate all the most wonderful love & care you gave to our beautiful Mum. Throughout her time in her 'new home' with you all, she was loved, respected and given dignity at the time of her passing. I spent 3 days & nights with her before her death, and I am simply in ore of you all." Daughter of Resident

"Just wanted to thank you all so much for the care and kindness you showed to Mum. The whole family appreciated it very much, and thank you again for making the past year as happy and fulfilled as possible for her." Daughter of Resident

"I want to thank you all for the excellent care my Mum received during her stay with you. At all times, [staff] were really kind, friendly and responsive. I wish she could have had a longer time to stay at Tremona, but her illness intervened. My thanks to you [Home Manager] personally for all your energy in getting her palliative care sorted out in the last two weeks, and to all of the staff who cared for her during those dark days, and also before – when she was comparatively well." Daughter of Resident

"We cannot express our gratitude to the whole team at Tremona. The care, affection, and attention given to Dad was outstanding, and we are all truly grateful. Moving him into the home was the best thing we could have done, and seeing him happy and content was a great boost for us all. I shall miss my visits to the home." Family of Resident

"[I would like] to express my sincere gratitude and profound appreciation for all the kindness and care that you have all given to me so freely during my stay at Tremona. That kindness and professional care that you have all, so selflessly, showered me with, has been instrumental in restoring my good health, something, which I shall never forget." Resident

"I have been involved in Tremona's social activities for the past year and have witnessed the high standards that are maintained at this home. It is clear that the level of individual care provided by the dedicated and conscientious staff could not be better! In addition to this high standard of person-centred care are the social activities, which are frequent and of a varied nature. It is my opinion that the standards reached in this home are of the highest and could not be surpassed anywhere else in the UK." Neighbour of Home

"Thank you so much for looking after Mum so well. She is very much back on form again, and out and about on long walks." Family of Respite Resident

"I would like to thank you very much for looking after Mum while she was with you. We appreciate your hard work." Family of Respite Resident

"Thank you for looking after my husband so well when I had a short break. Since then, he has made more of an effort to do things for himself for which I am very grateful." Wife of a Respite Resident

"Mum seems very happy and is being well looked after, and always comments how nice the staff are. So thank you for such a great job!" Son of Resident

"Just to say a big thank you to [Home Manager Ilona] and your wonderful staff for looking after Dad so well! It is wonderful for us all to have a break and to know that Dad is in such good hands. Although he has difficulty in speaking, I know that all his needs were met." Family of Respite Resident

"To everyone at Tremona, thank you for looking after me so well for the past two weeks." Respite Resident

"Visited to see resident and was very impressed by the care and treatment the residents received. Staff were polite, pleasant and very helpful." Family Member of Resident

"Thank you for having mummy and looking after her so well." Family of Resident

"Warm and welcoming, friendly and most helpful." Resident

"When I enquired it was like speaking to a good friend. All the staff we met were friendly and willing to help in any way they could." Brother of a Respite Resident

"A good team of people who are and make it feel like home." Resident

"The staff are wonderful." Resident

"A very caring, comfortable home. The staff are always cheerful and willing to help." Resident

"Well looked after in a quiet location. Helpful staff and excellent facilities." Respite Resident
