"[We] would like to thank Charley for all the hard work she does in organising activities at St Josephs - especially the trip to Tring Arts Educational School. Charley has a good relationship with the residents - she is a good asset to the team!" Daughter of Resident

"Thank you so much for organising such a wonderful afternoon treat for St Josephs. It was a very special occasion for the residents and lovely to see them all being so well looked after and entertained by the young people at Tring Park [School]." Visitor

"We would like to thank you for making the arrangements for [Relative] to attend her Brother's funeral." Family of Resident

"We would like to express our sincere thanks to you and your staff for the very considerable care and attention that you gave to my Mother whilst she was in your care. In what was a difficult time for us, we could only sit back and marvel at the way you all coped with her slow demise." Family of Resident

"A few years back, I had an elderly relative at St Josephs, therefore it seemed a natural place to volunteer when I found myself alone on Christmas Day. It was a privilege to spend time with your residents - they made me feel very welcome (and I enjoyed being teased by a couple of ladies with a wicked sense of humour!). So, in short, my Christmas Day was a much better one because of my visit there. Thank you." Festive Volunteer

"I must say thank you for the wonderful care given to my relative in the Kingfisher Unit at St Josephs. I am very appreciative of the work you all do, and sing your praises around the town. I think the Kingfisher Unit shows great care and understanding. I shall never forget the care we were shown in St Josephs." Resident of Resident

"Thank you for looking after my sister. The home's staff are so kind." Sister of Resident

"I must thank you so much for the wonderful care given to Henry in the Kingfisher Unit at St Josephs. Before we came, I had no idea of the superb little community, but we received a very warm welcome and instantly felt at ease. I am now very appreciative of the work you all do, and sing your praises around [Tring]. I shall never forget the care we were shown in St Josephs." Wife of Resident

"Thank you so much for the loving and patient care you gave our Dad during his time in Kingfisher. You made his quality of life and our memories of Dad so much happier over his last few months." Family of Resident

"Thank you so much for sending the photos of Mum - you have made my day!! I'm delighted to hear she went out on the trip and made a friend. Long may this friendship continue." Daughter of Resident

"Thanks to all the staff at St Josephs for the wonderful care you gave to Jessie. She was fond of you all and had nothing but praise for the way you cared" Daughter and Son-in-Law of a Resident

"Thank you to all at St Josephs for your caring and kindness shown to Lilian and to ourselves - we feel so at home with you!" The Selfe Family

"The compassion, patience and empathy that we witnessed from the staff was at a level that made us realise that Mum could live the rest of her life in a happy and caring environment. This was not a universal finding when we visited other homes. Mum was treated with acceptance, care and compassion by all the staff - and this is truly humbling to us." Son of Resident

"As a family, we are all so grateful. The peace of mind you have given us knowing she was being cared for. You are a pretty good bunch you know and your care means a lot to many." Daughter of Resident

"To the wonderful staff at St Josephs. We have been astonished by your great kindness in sitting with Florence so much and talking to her, playing her favourite music for her and so thoughtfully keeping the family informed as to how she was doing. We cannot thank you enough. You have made St Joseph's a really homely place for Florence in her last years and not only cared for her most tenderly, but brought laughter into her life as well, which is so important. She told us often how fond she was of her carers, and we were not surprised to hear it." Niece of resident

"Thank you for the great care and understanding. I was reassured he was in the best place, and how lucky we were." Relative of Family

"Thank you for everyone for a superb party. A huge thank you for all your efforts it was excellent. Food, drinks and entertainment all fantastic." Relatives attending Anniversary Party
