St Anns Care Home is a purpose-built home designed over two floors and situated close to the town centre of Kettering in Northamptonshire. With a much acclaimed and well established care team, St Anns has been providing quality care for older people since 1993.

The Care We Offer

St Anns Care Home provides care for elderly residents. We offer several types of stay depending on the level of support required - from long-term residential care to short stay and respite breaks. The home has two environments for residents depending on the level of care required. The first floor provides residential care whilst Garden View is a safe, comfortable environment that specialises in the care of older people living with a dementia.

St Anns has a select team of experienced staff, who have relevant and appropriate training to meet the needs of the residents. B&M Care has one of the most envied staff training programmes in the industry. We provide high ratios of staff both day and night. The emphasis of our care delivery is on individually planned person centred care, which builds upon a person's strengths and constantly seeks to improve their quality of life. Freedom and privacy are respectfully maintained, yet help is always on hand.


Michelle Bhangal


Michelle joined B&M Care in 2005 as Assistant Manager and was appointed Home Manager in October 2017. She has an NVQ 2 and 3 and also a Registered Managers Award (RMA). Michelle is responsible for the training and induction of all staff. Michelle has successfully completed the Alzheimer’s Society programme 'Tomorrow is Another Day'.

Corina Cowley

Team Leader

Corina joined St Anns in 2004 as a care assistant and has gone on to achieve level 3 in Health and Social Care. She is now a Team Leader, has a certification in Dementia awareness and has completed the Alzheimer's Society training Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. Corina is the Moving and Handling trainer, is certified in food hygiene, health and safety, medication and staff supervision. She is very committed to the delivery of good person centred care.

Michelle Young

Team Leader

Michelle joined St Anns in 1994, took some time out to go to Australia and returned to us in 2004. She has worked her way up to the position of Team Leader and has achieved level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care. Michelle is a highly motivated member of staff and has a level 3 qualification in Management and Leadership and has completed the Alzheimer's Society training Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

Debbie Soper

Activities & Lifestyle Facilitator

Having started at St Anns in 2011 as a Care Assistant, Debbie has built upon her 38 years of experience by progressing through the ranks to a Senior Care position - all whilst collecting her NVQ Level 2 accreditation in Health & Social Care. November 2018 saw Debbie stay in the home, but pursue a different career path as an Engagement Lead - a position that showcases Debbie's true passion for delivering a highly-personalised lifestyle programme within a stimulating, yet meaningful environment.

Mel Davies


Melanie is our administrator and joined us in 2011. She has completed all our in-house training but has gone on to complete level 2 and 3 in Health Care and Support Services. Mel is also certificated in level 2 Principles of Dementia Care. She has a good understanding of the services as she used to be a care assistant at St Anns.

  • Bedrooms: Rooms are offered as single or single en-suite and all of the rooms may be personalised.
  • Dining: All dining and refreshments are fully inclusive. Residents may take meals in a choice of dining areas or if they wish, in the privacy of their own room. Our skilled chef prepares an extensive range of appetising home cooked meals, taking into account nutritional balances and any specific dietary requirements or individual preferences. There is always a choice of menu with refreshments and snacks available 24hrs.

Life at St Anns Care Home is very much home from home and an active lifestyle is encouraged, with friends and relatives always welcome. An activities and lifestyle facilitator arranges a varied social calendar of activities and entertainment. With a focus on one to one activities, they ensure that each of the residents engage in meaningful occupation tailored to who they are.
