Ryeview Manor Care Home opened on 29th July 2013 and is situated in an exclusive residential road that sits alongside the banks of the pretty backstream to the River Wye. Purpose built over three floors, Ryeview Manor offers the very highest standards of a quality environment.

The Care We Offer

Ryeview Manor Care Home provides care for elderly residents. We offer several types of stay depending on the level of support required - from long-term residential care to short stay and respite breaks. The home has three environments for residents depending on the level of care required. The ground and second floors provide residential care whilst the first floors is a safe, comfortable environment that specialises in the care of older people living with a dementia.

Ryeview Manor has a select team of experienced staff, who have relevant and appropriate training to meet the needs of the residents. B&M Care has one of the most envied staff training programmes in the industry. We provide high ratios of staff both day and night. The emphasis of our care delivery is on individually planned person centred care, which builds upon a person's strengths and constantly seeks to improve their quality of life. Freedom and privacy are respectfully maintained, yet help is always on hand.

Clare Hodges

Clare has worked in the care industry since 2007 and is passionate about delivering excellent person centred dementia care. Clare was promoted to Home Manager in September 2016 from her previous role as deputy manager of Ryeview Manor and enjoys the new challenges managing a home presents. Clare says, Ryeview is an amazing place to work. I enjoying coming to work, it’s a home from home. She has achieved her level 5 in management and has completed B&M Care's Management Development Pathway training.
Martin

Martin Sharp

Deputy Manager

Martin joined the team at Ryeview Manor as a senior carer in 2015, he has quickly progressed to Deputy Manager in 2016. Martin has worked his way up through the ranks obtaining wealth of experience and knowledge. Previously working in the NHS and with a background in Dementia care, Martin is passionate about delivering high quality care at all times. Martin is currently undertaking his Level 5 in Health and Social Care level 5.
Denise

Denise Barton

Activities & Lifestyle Facilitator

Denise has been an activities co-ordinator since 2008 and has undertaken many training courses to develop her expertise in not only activities but in the understanding of dementia care. Denise feels very fortunate to be doing a job that she feels passionate about and believes it is very important to be able to deliver activities that are meaningful and enjoyable for each individual resident.

Mandy Joyce

Mandy has worked for many years with Social Services and was very pleased to be given the opportunity to work with B&M Care when Ryeview Manor opened in 2013. Mandy particularly enjoys the interaction with the residents and their families as well as the variety of tasks and responsibilities as an Administrator with no two days ever the same.
Geraldine

Geraldine Allen

Administrator

Geraldine has worked for B&M Care at Ryeview Manor since 2015. Previous to this, she was in the education sector, working in a university, providing management and administration support to the security team. Geraldine loves working with the other staff at Ryeview, who are so passionate about delivering care. She also enjoys interacting with residents; helping them to get the best possible experience while staying in our home.
  • Purpose-built 64 bed residential and dementia care home designed over four floors
  • Bedrooms: There is a choice of single, large single or companion en-suite bedrooms. Some rooms have direct patio/garden access and all of the rooms may be personalised.
  • Dining: All dining and refreshments are fully inclusive. Residents may take meals in a choice of dining areas or if they wish, in the privacy of their own room. Our skilled chef prepares an extensive range of appetising home cooked meals, taking into account nutritional balances and any specific dietary requirements or individual preferences. There is always a choice of menu with refreshments and snacks available 24hrs.

Life at Ryeview Manor Care Home is very much home from home and an active lifestyle is encouraged, with friends and relatives always welcome. An activities and lifestyle facilitator arranges a varied social calendar of activities and entertainment. With a focus on one to one activities, they ensure that each of the residents engage in meaningful occupation tailored to who they are.
