Ryeview Manor Care Home opened on 29th July 2013 and is situated in an exclusive residential road that sits alongside the banks of the pretty backstream to the River Wye. Purpose built over three floors, Ryeview Manor offers the very highest standards of a quality environment.

The Care We Offer

Ryeview Manor Care Home provides care for elderly residents. We offer several types of stay depending on the level of support required - from long-term residential care to short stay and respite breaks. The home has three environments for residents depending on the level of care required. The ground and second floors provide residential care whilst the first floors is a safe, comfortable environment that specialises in the care of older people living with a dementia.

Ryeview Manor has a select team of experienced staff, who have relevant and appropriate training to meet the needs of the residents. B&M Care has one of the most envied staff training programmes in the industry. We provide high ratios of staff both day and night. The emphasis of our care delivery is on individually planned person centred care, which builds upon a person's strengths and constantly seeks to improve their quality of life. Freedom and privacy are respectfully maintained, yet help is always on hand.


Gemma Scott

Home Manager

Gemma was a beautician for 15 years but felt that there was something missing form her career. She came to Ryeview Manor in May 2015 as a carer and shone since day 1. Over the past 3 years she has completed her NVQ level 2 and 3 and is currently working towards gaining her level 5 in health and social care. Gemma also completed the managers pathway with B&M and has gone from strength to strength in her career. She has worked hard to achieve all of her promotions which saw her rise from a Day Care Assistant through to Deputy Manager. Gemma was appointed the role of Home Manager in March 2019.

Angie Wilkes

Deputy Manager

Angie has worked in the care sector for 11 years. She came to work at Ryeview Manor in March 2015 as a Senior Care Assistant. She has shown to be a great asset to the company and has worked her way from Senior to Deputy Manager in the three years since starting with the company. She has completed her NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care and continues to learn through her job as part of the management team.

Derya Aydin

Assistant Manager

Derya has over 14 years experience in the social care industry, as well as a BA(Hons) Department of Labour, Economics and Industrial Relations and a MBA (Master of Business Administration). Derya joined Ryeview Manor in 2017 as an Assistant Manager and has taken over all staff training since September 2017. Derya is passionate about the delivery of person-centred care and staff development.

Jeanette White

Activities & Lifestyle Facilitator

Since leaving school at the age of 16, Jeanette has worked as a secretary in a number of industries, including 10 years at Heathrow Airport. Her passion for helping others led her to caring in the community where she gained her NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, as well as experience within a Nursing Care Home. Since joining Ryeview Manor in 2017, Jeanette has learnt to 'think outside of the box' and embrace the spontaneity of working with lovely people.

  • Purpose-built 64 bed residential and dementia care home designed over four floors
  • Bedrooms: There is a choice of single, large single or companion en-suite bedrooms. Some rooms have direct patio/garden access and all of the rooms may be personalised.
  • Dining: All dining and refreshments are fully inclusive. Residents may take meals in a choice of dining areas or if they wish, in the privacy of their own room. Our skilled chef prepares an extensive range of appetising home cooked meals, taking into account nutritional balances and any specific dietary requirements or individual preferences. There is always a choice of menu with refreshments and snacks available 24hrs.

Life at Ryeview Manor Care Home is very much home from home and an active lifestyle is encouraged, with friends and relatives always welcome. An activities and lifestyle facilitator arranges a varied social calendar of activities and entertainment. With a focus on one to one activities, they ensure that each of the residents engage in meaningful occupation tailored to who they are.
