Greenhill Care Home is set in seven acres of beautiful mature grounds close to the exclusive Hadley Wood area. Formerly a magnificent private country house, Greenhill has retained many of its original features.


The Care We Offer

Greenhill Care Home provides care for elderly residents. We offer several types of stay depending on the level of support required - from long-term residential care to short stay and respite breaks. The home has two environments for residents depending on the level of care required. Greenhill old manor house provides residential care whilst The Cedars is a safe, comfortable environment that specialises in the care of older people living with a dementia.

Greenhill has a select team of experienced staff, who have relevant and appropriate training to meet the needs of the residents. B&M Care has one of the most envied staff training programmes in the industry. We provide high ratios of staff both day and night. The emphasis of our care delivery is on individually planned person centred care, which builds upon a person's strengths and constantly seeks to improve their quality of life. Freedom and privacy are respectfully maintained, yet help is always on hand.

Veronica has eight years’ experience in the care industry. Veronica has her RMA level 4 and is going to undertake the BSc (Hons) in dementia studies in September 2015.Veronica is passionate about providing excellent dementia care and leading her team to ensure high standards of personalised care and support.

Team Leader

Mayet has worked at Greenhill for over 13 years and leads a team of staff in the main home. Mayet has her NVQ level 3, her PTTLS train the trainer course and is responsible for the care homes training and inductions. Mayet ensures the safe and effective running of the staff team and delivers a high standard of personalised care.

Julie has worked at Greenhill for 2 years and oversees the running of the Cedars. Julie is passionate about providing person centred dementia care. Julie is the Dementia and End of Life Champion for Greenhill.

Sue Reynolds

Administrator

Sue has worked as the administrator at Greenhill since 2000, prior to which she was a school secretary. She holds qualifications in administration and has completed all the mandatory training set out by B&M Care. She is the first friendly face for anyone visiting the home and is always at the end of the telephone to assist with any queries.

Ton Ketmalee

Chef

Ton has been working at Greenhill for 8 years and is Head of the Catering at Greenhill. He has gained a BA (Hons) in Hospitality Management. In addition to this, Ton is qualified in food preparation and cooking level 3, food and nutrition and health and hygiene. Ton and his team have recently gained the top mark of 5 from the Environmental Food Agency. He is extremely passionate about dementia care at Greenhill. Ton is the Food and Nutritional lead at Greenhill and also the Safeguarding Champion Manager.
  • Old country Manor house, extended and converted to provide 67 en-suite rooms and a specialist dementia environment 'Cedars'
  • Bedrooms: All rooms are offered as single en-suite. Some rooms have direct patio/garden access and all of the rooms may be personalised.
  • Fully inclusive dining: Residents may take meals in a choice of dining areas, including the Grand Dining Room, or if the wish, in the privacy of their own room. Our skilled chef prepares an extensive range of appetising home cooked meals, taking into account nutritional balances and any specific dietary requirements or individual preferences. There is always a choice of menu and snacks and drinks are available 24hrs

Life at Greenhill Care Home is very much home from home and an active lifestyle is encouraged, with friends and relatives always welcome. There is a team of activities and lifestyle facilitators that arrange a varied social calendar of activities and entertainment. With a focus on one to one activities, they ensure that each of the residents engage in meaningful occupation tailored to who they are.
