Philomena joined B&M Care as manager at White Plains in July 2010. She has over 15 years experience at management level in care and her previous roles include Crisis Management for a large care home chain and managing a 93 bed nursing and dementia home. She has gained her Registered Managers Award (RMA) and NVQ IV as well as being a registered nurse. Philomena has undertaken many dementia training programmes to reinforce her experience with working with people who live with a dementia.
Hanna Suwada Deputy Manager
Hanna joined the team at white Plains as Deputy manager in May 2011. She comes to us from another care home in the area where she was a Senior Care Assisant for six months. Hanna is from Poland and is a qualified Social Worker. she has gained her NVQ level II and III and has undertaken various dementia training programmes including person centred planning.
Sue Dawson Administrator
Sue joined the team at White Plains in November and works part time at the home. She is the first person you meet with a warm welcome. She has over 20 years administration experience in both the public and private sectors. She has recently undertaken a Health & Social Care course with Open University and is awaiting her results. In her spare time she enjoys pilates, walking, swimming and gardening.
Gemma Crow Lifestyle and Activities Facilitator
Gemma is a creative sort and has applied this passion in all her previous roles, which have included teaching, youth work, coaching and mentoring and more recently in developing her own jewellery design business which she maintains alongside her role as Activities Facilitator.
At White Plains she combines her love of people and her creative skills and thinking to enable the residents to enjoy life more fully.
