Residents at Tremona took a walk on the wild side, when they came face to face with spiders, snakes, bats and lizards. The Impeyan Group travel across the south-east with the “zoo that comes to you”, bringing a host of exotic animals to homes, schools and businesses. And on 5th June, residents got up close and personal with owls, cockroaches and tarantulas. Jackie Hall, home manager, said: “The residents really got a lot out of it. To see the pleasure on their faces was unbelievable. “It's something we try to do to brighten their lives. We do have entertainment on a regular basis but this was something completely different. They were still talking about it yesterday (Sunday). It made a big impression on them. It's nice to see them smile.” |
