B&M Care's Training Manager, Patricia Davis was chosen as a finalist in this year's National Care Awards for 'Best Contribution by a Dignity Champion'. She was shortlisted from hundreds of entries across the country and was invited to meet the judges at the prestigious London Hilton Metropole Hotel in October. All the finalists were invited to the awards ceremony hosted by Strictly Come Dancing star and journalist John Seargent on 25th November to announce the winners.
Clare Lodge Cook, Brenda Stevens (centre) scooped the 'Care Chef 2011' prize at this year's awards, beating off country-wide opposition to be chosen as a finalist to take part in a 'Ready Steady Cook Style' cook-off. On the day Judges voted Brenda's dish as the best and she was presented her award by John Seargent at the ceremony on 25th November. She did so well and we are really proud of her!
Scooping the most prestigious award for 'Best Carer 2011' was B&M Care's very own Pauline Taylor from Tara's Retreat Care Home in Sandridge. Pauline has workd for B&M Care for over 20 years and has now been recognised on the national stage for her oustanding contribution to care. Well done everyone!
