Dementia Care Accreditation Award for Tara's Retreat

In order to accredit Tara’s Retreat, HCC looked at 6 standards for dementia care. These were based on work done by the Alzheimer’s Society. They checked policies, observed life in the home and spoke with staff.

They found that the Home achieved the required level in order to be accredited, and that there is a clear commitment to the care of people with dementia at the home.

Tara's Retreat scored a staggering 99% out of a possible 100.  Well done to Annette and her team!
