Meet the Care Team

Emma has worked at St Matthews as the manager since 2005.  Previously she worked as a manager in another home for the years and has 20 years experience in the care industry. Her qualifications are NVQ Level 3 and Registered Managers Award (RMA). She has also completed the Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow training which is accredited to the Alzheimer’s Society and as well as the 'Leadership Matters in Person Centered Dementia Care' programme in conjunction with Dementia Care Matters and the Alzheimer's Society and accredited by Surrey University.  "I have a great Team of staff whom are cheerful and strive to deliever the highest Level of Care Possible".

Margo joined the team at St Matthews in Summer 2008. She has many years experience working in the care industry. She has NVQ Level 2 and 3 and wishes to progress to level 4. Margo has recently completed the Yesterday,Today,Tomorrow Alzheimers care course and has completed many other training courses in caring. Along with Jackie and Elaine, Margo assists in over-seeing all the care in St Matthews.

 


Elaine Ward
Deputy Manager  

Elaine has many years experience working at B&M Care. She has previously been the manager at Chesham Bois Manor and Clare Lodge. Elaine has gained her Registered Managers Award (RMA) and has participated in numerous dementia accredited courses.

 

Jackie Butler
Assistant Manager 

Jackie has worked at St Matthews since 2004 and started as a senior carer. Her main roles are to over-see care delivery assisted by Margo and the induction of new staff. She has completed an NVQ Level 3 and is the homes trainer for Moving and Handling. She is also the health and safety officer for the home.
