To provide a safe, stimulating environment giving a comprehensive quality of care to the Service Users, whose needs are those dictated solely by virtue of their increasing frailty in old age, as well as to those Service Users who are more physcially or mentally dependant. This will take into account individual needs by maintaining dignity, self-respect, health, comfort and also religious needs.
To promote and encourage independance with daily living skills by encouraging self-care where possible.
To stimulate and motivate Service Users through communication, interaction and appropriate activities.
Offer such support and encouragement as may be necessary to any Service User to achieve his or her fullest possible potential within the constraints of his or her physical, medical or mental capabilities.
To encourage and enable staff to increase and develop their knowledge.
