Meet the Care Team

 

Gill Edwards
Manager 

Gill has worked at St Josephs for thirteen and a half years. She has been Manager for the past six and a half years. Gill has many qualifications which include the Registered Managers Award (RMA). She has also completed the Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow training which is accredited to the Alzheimer’s Society and as well as the 'Leadership Matters in Person Centered Dementia Care' programme in conjunction with Dementia Care Matters and the Alzheimer's Society and accredited by Surrey University. Gill is very proud of her care team who provide excellent care.

 

Wendy Jessop
Assistant Manager

Wendy joined the team at St Josephs in November 2009. She comes to us from her previous role as Unit Manager at a care home in Milton Keynes and she has worked in care all her life.  She has gained NVQ III in Care and Level II in Dementia Care.  Wendy will complete NVQ IV in Leadership and Management in April 2010 and is attending The Alzheimer's Society programme, 'Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow'. She is moving and handling trainer and tissue viability trained for St Josephs.
