Sue joined B&M Care in 2009 after managing another elderly care home. She has been working in the care industry since 1994 and is currently working towards her Registered Managers Award (RMA) and NVQ4. Sue has undertaken various courses relating to care and has completed the 'Leadership Matters In Person Centred Dementia Care' programme with Dementia Care Matters, which is accredited to Surrey University and the Alzheimer's Society.
Katie Dempsey Assistant Manager
Katie has worked at St Catharines since 2004 and volunteered here for about 18 months before that. She knows the home very well and all the residents. She has lots of experience in the care profession and is responsible for training all staff following the completion of her Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTTLS) course. She is also the manual handling trainer in the home. Katie is currently working towards her NVQ3 in Health and Social Care.
Trish Walters Senior Carer
Trish joined B&M Care in 1990 to work at St Catharines. She was appointed Senior Carer in 1991. Trish enjoys working in small, family environment home where she has been able to support the management team and inspires team work throughout the home.
Pauline Day Lifestyle and Activities Facilitator Pauline is a patient, caring individual that understands the needsof the residents at St Catharines. She will find out what the residents like to do and assist them in fulfulling this Whether it be int he home or in the community we at St Catharines try to encourage independence.
