Jane West Manager Jane has been working in care since 1999 and has been a home manager since 2009. She has an NVQ 4 in Health and Social Care, NVQ 4 LMA and experience working in many different areas of the care industry. Jane is originally from Yorkshire but currently in the process of moving to Reading from the Isle of Wight with her family. Jane has a passion for animals particularly her dog “Dave” who is Lakeside's House Pet.
Amanda Teggs Deputy Manager Amanda joined the team at Lakeside in September 2011 as a Team Leader and was promoted to Deputy Manager in January 2012. She comes to us with 20 years experience of working in the care industry. Amanda has a Degree in Adult Nursing, an NVQ 2 and 3 and is currently working towards a Team Leadership Diploma level 3.
Sam Boorne Administrator Sam has been working in administration since 2007. She comes to us from a domicilliary care agency where she managed the staff recruitment. Sam has lived in Reading all her life and is a family orientated lady. Sam is currently doing her NVQ II in Business and Administration.
Sheila Garraway Lifestyle and Activities Facilitators Sheila has lived in Reading all her life and is married with 2 children. She is a very creative person and adores hosting social events. Sheila has worked as an activities co-ordinator for over 3 years and prides herself on the positive response she gets from the residents.
