Clare Lodge Cook, Brenda Stevens (centre) scooped top prize at this year's Caring Times National Care Awards. Brenda beat off country-wide opposition to be chosen as a finalist to take part in a 'Ready Steady Cook Style' cook-off. On the day Judges voted Brenda's dish as the best and she was awarded the top prize 'Care Chef 2011' at the awards ceremony on Friday 25th November. She was presented with her award by Strictly Come Dancing star and journalist John Seargent. She did so well and we are really proud of her!
