Karen was appointed as the Manager at Clare Lodge in October 2011. She comes to us from another care home in St Albans where she has worked for over fourteen years. Karen started her career as a care assistant and worked her way up to team leader and then Deputy Manager - a role she has focussed on for the last four years before joining B&M Care. Karen has gained her NVQ IV, NVQ II, Leadership in Dementia Care and is a 'Champion of Dementia Care' - a programme run by David Sheard's organisation Dementia Care Matters, in association with the Alzheimer's Society.
Janet Hyde Team Leader
Janet joined Clare Lodge in February 1983 as a care assistant and worked her way up through the ranks to senior and finally manager in 1992. Janet transferred to Tara's Retreat when Clare Lodge closed in 2006, returning 2 years later. Janet has devoted many years to caring and has gained her Registered Manager's Award (RMA), she has a Level 2 in Medication, Level II in Dementia Care and an NVQ IV.

Yas joined the team at clare Lodge in June 2011 as a care assistant and has worked his way up to the role of Team Leader. Yas has been working in the care industry since 2006 whilst studying at the same time. He has gained many qualifications in that time which include merits, distinctions and NVQ's.
Liz Muskett Administrator
Liz joined the team at Clare Lodge in October 2011. She is the first friendly face that you meet when you walk through the door. Liz lives in St Albans and is a very experienced professional that has worked in administrative roles for over seventeen years.
