Meet the Care Team

Maureen Leka
Manager
Has been with B&MCare since 2006. Maureen was deputy manager at St Josephs Care Home before taking on the role of manager of Chesham Bois Manor in 2008. She has 30yrs experience in the care industry and has gained her registered managers award. She has also completed the Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow training which is accredited to the Alzheimer’s Society and is currently working towards the Leadership in Person Centered Dementia Care programme with Dementia Care Matters and accredited by Surrey University. Maureen says "I have an excellent staff team who all deliver a high standard of care to all our residents. 80% of staff at Chesham have gained there NVQ 2 or 3, including domestic staff".
Patricia Andrews
Deputy Manager

Trish joined B&M Care in 1980 and has always worked at Chesham Bois. Trish became Deputy Manager in 1998. She has completed the Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow award from the Alzheimer's Society and currently one of B&M Care's trainers in delivering this course to staff in other homes in the group. She has gained her NVQ3 and is working towards the registered managers award.
Sue Lawrance
Assistant Manager

Sue joined B&M Care as Assistant Manager in 2006. She has over 30yrs experience in the care industry. Sue has gained NVQ 3 and is working towards the registered managers award. Sue is one of the homes moving and handling trainers and has completed the Alzheimer's Society award Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow as well as their leadership and management development award.
Karen Bowden
Administrator

Karen has been working as an administrator for B&M Care at Chesham Bois Manor since 2003. Karen has front of house qualifications, giving everyone a warm welcome to The Manor. In 2008 she successfully obtained an occupational Health and Safety qualification.
