Set within an idyllic eight acres of beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, Chesham Bois Manor offers the serenity and exclusivity of a Manor House.
The care we offer
Chesham Bois Manor provides care for elderly residents. We offer several types of stay depending on the level of support required - from long-term residential care to short stay and respite breaks. The home benefits from a safe, comfortable environment that specialises in the care of older people living with a dementia.
Key Features of Chesham Bois Manor Care Home
The home offers a choice of lounges and dining areas, plus a private period, panelled wall library which is ideal for families and guests to use. The beautifully manicured gardens at Chesham offer a safe environment, with easy access pathways and plenty of space for events. To ensure a top level of service for a varied range of residents, Chesham Bois Manor has created a purpose built courtyard style environment to cater for people living with a dementia. This specialist environment also has a safe, enclosed garden and internal 'walking path' which provides for freedom of movement and independence.
Bedrooms
There is a choice of single or companion en suite bedrooms with a 24-hour call system, telephone and TV points. All rooms have views overlooking the landscaped groups and all of the rooms may be personalised.
Life at Chesham Bois Manor
Life at Chesham Bois Manor is very much home from home and an active lifestyle is encouraged, with friends and relatives always welcome. The activities organiser arranges a varied social calendar of activities and entertainment in groups and on a one to one basis. We ensure that each of our residents receive meaningful occupation tailored to who they are. The home has transport available for trips into the community and there is a weekly activities programme with monthly entertainment.
The Care Team
Chesham Bois Manor has a select team of experienced staff, who have relevant and appropriate training to meet the needs of the residents. The emphasis of our care delivery is on individually planned person centred care, which builds upon a person's strengths and constantly seeks to improve their quality of life. Freedom and privacy are respectfully maintained, yet help is always on hand. The staff team won 'Care Team of the Year 2010' in The Caring Times National Care Awards for their outstanding care delivery and teamwork.
